Long-standing quality
This variety of wine hails from Lower Austria, more specifically from the area around Manhartsberg mountain ridge and came to existence as spontaneous cross between Tramíner and St. Georgen. In Slovakia, it is one of the most widespread varieties with a long-standing tradition of cultivation. Its quality is signalled by its rich greenish yellow colour, fruity bouquet, and fresh, meady, bitter almond taste.
