Our most precious variety was first grown by a French gardener Robert Moreau. It soon spread from France to other European countries, including Slovakia. In 1952 it was officially put on the list of permitted varieties. Since then it has had a typically vibrant yellow colour, slightly spicy aroma, and a taste of yellow watermelon.
