This very particular variety was created in USSR by crossbreeding Alicante Henri Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon around 1950. It is said that the result was far superior than what they initially intended. Alibernet’s dominant features are intensive colourful tones and a berry aroma. This robust wine leaves you with a long-lasting and full taste.
